Life is not always a pool of happiness, despite my previous post. It has its ups and downs, like everyone knows, and has definetely experienced: it's the way it is supposed to be, and you can't escape that reality, for there is no other. And being death the very end, the terminal of the train that will have no stops, life itself, you have to keep on travelling, and choosing your stops wisely, in order for the trip to last longer. This is why I'm writting to you about my failure, and complete disappointment with my school results. Yeah, I know exactly what you're thinking. But this is a big deal for me, not being successful in something I love, which is school. School can be an addicting drug, that will keep on giving you pleasure for as long as you have nice results, but once you get a series of bad ones, you'll completely lose yourself. You'll question your own identity, and even your goals for the future - but I did realize something! If I want to feel that again, that fantastic joy, I have to work for it. With the end of the year approaching, I'm going to take the chance to rest, and start fresh next year. And rest assured, I did come across a good stop in the train of life, yesterday. I got to meet a person (as well as his friend), in real life, who I first encountered in the internet, more specifically, in a Pokemon chat. He generally goes by the nickname of Netcan, and he's an otaku just like me, as well as a gamer. We have some common interests which made our time as friends, yesterday, quite memorable, and enjoyable. We went to the cinema, and watched "One Million Ways to Die in the West", Seth McFarlane's new movie, which he directed and acted in. It was nice, but the best part came after we finnished watching the movie, and set off to Fnac, an electronics/ gaming/ book store in Portugal, where we really had the best time. I'd call it the highlight of the meeting, since we got to discuss and laugh about our main interests: anime/ manga and games. So, dear people, keep living your pitiful lives. One day you'll definetely find something to cheer you on. An awesome song I'm leaving you with. So, from all these amazing pictures, and from the very obvious title, you can probably guess I'm feeling quite happy today. There are a number of reasons for one to feel happy, like when someone gets their driving license, when someone has sex for the first time or even when someone realizes they didn't get AIDS. I'm feeling happy for some different reasons, though: the test I had today went quite well, better than I expected, actually, while Gamefreak trademarked Pokemon Delta Emerald (which could very possibly mean a remake of Pokemon Emerald is going to be released, but that would just be too good to be true) and Nintendo made a partnership with Mercedez-Benz to get one of their cars as a DLC for Mario Kart 8! Aren't those just some great news? As such, and because of my immense pleasure (*cough*), I'm leaving you with this:
